Kalso is an office furniture system of folding tables and stackable lockers. In aluminium, it is created to be easy to move and adapt depending on the needs of the user. The design is kept elegant and neutral to find a place in any interior.
We worked on a folding structure that would be extremely stable and sturdy, while also improving storage. Another goal was to make sure that one person alone could easily set up a table. After numerous prototypes, we reached a system where for the volume of one table, and without specific equipment, 6 tables can be stored.
Each piece of furniture is adapted to a specific function : surfaces made to work or to discuss, shapes inviting to shared moment or focus, dimensions made to work seated or standing… But all the structures are created with the same two extrusions, even the lockers, allowing for easy production.
