For the cultural center dedicated to numerical culture, we questioned the limit between virtual and real spaces. Nowaday, it is impossible to tell the difference between realistic 3D rendering and photography of interior designs.
Taking another approach, we created a virtual aesthetic in the real world, using simple shapes and strong color palette.
The Glitch Bar embodies this tension between virtuality and reality. We hacked industrial materials in order to create a practical and welcoming space. Since this bar only last for 6 months, everything was designed to be upcycled after use.
