Recherche plastique / 2025

Depuis l’enfance, nous ramassons des cailloux au hasard de nos pas, au détour d’une promenade ou d’une aventure. Petits trésors de poche, témoins discrets de nos histoires intimes, ils deviennent des fragments de mémoire que l’on garde, parfois toute une vie. 

Cette pulsion de collectionner, de préserver, semble profondément humaine : c’est le geste archaïque et universel de faire d’un rien un trésor.


Trésor est une collection de seize pierres ramassées ou empruntées, serties dans des tiges de polycarbonate, comme autant de gemmes fragiles mises en lumière.

Ensemble, ces pièces interrogent notre rapport à la valeur, au souvenir et à l’enfance. Elles déplacent le regard : du caillou ramassé au bord du chemin à l’objet d’art, du fragment ordinaire au trésor intime.


Since childhood, we collect stones randomly in our steps, around the corner of a walk or an adventure. Small pocket treasures, discreet witnesses of our intimate stories, they become fragments of memory that we keep, sometimes for a lifetime. This urge to collect, to preserve, seems deeply human: it is the archaic and universal gesture of making a treasure out of nothing.Trésor is a collection of sixteen collected or borrowed stones, set in polycarbonate stems, like so many fragile gems highlighted.Together, these pieces question our relationship to value, memory, and childhood. They move the gaze: from the pebble collected at the edge of the path to the art object, from the ordinary fragment to the intimate treasure.

Pour l‘entreprise de bioplastique Futuramat&#38;nbsp;

Comment valoriser sa production lorsque l’on fabrique des granulés plastiques?

C’est la question que m’a posé l’entreprise de formulation de Bioplastiques Futuramat, qui cherchait un moyen de communiquer sur la qualité de leur matière en adéquation avec leur engagement environnemental.

Est alors né l’idée d’un puzzle 3D, format A5 et facile à poster, qui permettrait à leur client de tester leur matière : séparer les pièces, sentir le grain, comprendre sa flexibilté... et surtout qui trouverait sa place dans un bureau.
Après plusieurs propositions, le choix s’est porté sur l’escargot - luma en patois local - comme symbole de leurs valeurs.
How to enhance one’s production when making plastic pellets?
This is the question asked to me by the formulation company of Bioplastiques Futuramat, which was looking for a way to communicate on the quality of their material in line with their environmental commitment.
The concept of a 3D puzzle in A5 format was introduced to enable clients to test their material by separating the pieces, feeling the grain, and understanding its flexibility. Particularly, it would find its place on a desk.

After several proposals, the choice fell on the snail - luma in local dialect - as a symbol of their values.

À l’occasion de l’anniversaire des Tours Vilmouth, j’ai accompagné des élèves de primaire et de collège à la création d’œuvres urbaines et utiles pour aménager les espaces de leur ville.Une occasion de faire découvrir à ces jeunes la pratique de projet, la réalisation de maquette architecturales et de les faire se questionner sur leur environnement !

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Vilmouth Towers, I accompanied primary and middle school students in the creation of urban and useful works to design the spaces of their city. 

An opportunity to introduce these young people to project practice, the creation of architectural models and make them question their environment!

Le Collectif Tutti m'a contacté pour participer à un projet ambitieux : La boîte à Tutti. Ce dispositif, condensé de leur longue expérience, est un outil pour encourager et soutenir la pratique de la musique et de la danse auprès des tout-petits.Après deux ans d'immersion en crèche, la composition de musique dédiée, la réalisation de jeux sur mesure, l'illustration des étapes, ils avaient besoin d'un designer pour réaliser.... la boîte !Loin de leur proposer un simple emballage, j'ai eu à cœur de travailler la boîte comme un élément central des ateliers, portant les valeurs sociales et environnementales de Tutti.Monomatière, réalisée en liège et en circuit court, la boîte prolonge l'expérience sensorielle des enfants en toute sécurité.
The Tutti Collective contacted me to participate in an ambitious project: La boîte à Tutti. This device, condensed from their long experience, is a tool to encourage and support the practice of music and dance with toddlers.

After two years of immersion in a nursery, the composition of dedicated music, the realization of tailor-made games, the illustration of the steps, they needed a designer to realize.... the box! 

Far from offering them a simple packaging, I was keen to work the box as a central element of the workshops, bearing the social and environmental values of Tutti. Mono-material, made of cork and short circuit, The box extends children’s sensory experience safely.

Lauréat du concours “Mon Beau déchet 2024” organisé par Valesens.
 Le cuir d’une veste de pompier est souple et agréable au toucher, marqué par l’usure, le feu, les différents grains de peau et les tracés géométriques des coutures.

Ce projet vise à revaloriser le cuir dans le domaine des arts de la table. La fonction de protection thermique, raison de son utilisation dans la veste de pompier, y est exploité dans l’univers domestique de la cuisine et du repas.

Blanche est une collection d'objets simples et élégants, qui conserve les traces des anciennes vies de la matière.

Les divers objets s'assemblent et s'harmonisent comme un paysage organique, mettant en scène le repas. L'ensemble suggère une interaction tactile avec la matière, encourageant à la manipulation, et où l'usure est perçue comme un élément esthétique.

The leather of a firefighter jacket is soft and pleasant to the touch, marked by wear, fire, various skin grains and geometric seams.
This project aims to upgrade leather in the field of tableware. The thermal protection function, reason for its use in the firefighter jacket, is exploited in the domestic universe of cooking and dining.
Blanche is a collection of simple and elegant objects, which preserves the traces of ancient lives of matter.The various objects are assembled and harmonized like an organic landscape, staging the meal. The whole suggests a tactile interaction with the material, encouraging manipulation. Wear is perceived as an aesthetic element.

Exposées en 2025 au Centre d’art contemporain de Châtellerault “Je suis un ami des objets”

Pièces en ventes, prix sur demande.
 Ce projet puise son inspiration dans les objets anciens qui peuplent les fonds de placard et les brocantes. Ils me passionnent par leur histoire, leur utilisation, ce qui a fait leur valeur et les raisons qui poussent aujourd’hui à les mettre au rebut. Mais que se passerait-il si ces objets oubliés se mettaient à germer?


Dans ce parallèle, assiettes, vase, coupes, terrines, couverts anciens deviennent support de nouveaux germes en verre. Ces extensions et hybridations les font transcender leur fonction première pour nous permettre de les découvrir sous un autre jour.

This project draws its inspiration from the old objects that populate the backs of cupboards and flea markets. They fascinate me because of their history, their use, what made them valuable and the reasons that push them to be scrapped today. But what would happen if these forgotten objects began to sprout?In this parallel, old plates, vases, cups, terrines and cutlery become the support for new germs in glass. These extensions and hybridizations make them transcend their primary function to allow us to discover them in another light.

Projet réalisé pour Plaxtil, en collaboration avec l’artiste photographe Mauju et l’entreprise Futuramat

Pièces présentées : Le beau et le moche.
 

Cette exposition réalisée sur un site industriel a deux objectifs : d’un côté, intégrer et mettre en valeur les entreprises de ce pôle et le savoir-faire de leurs employé·es. De l’autre, questionner une notion universelle et complexe : la beauté.

L’exposition est composée des rebuts, chutes, outils et objets délaissés de l’usine, loin d’être reconnus comme beaux. Cette collecte, travaillée et présentée dans un autre contexte, prend un nouveau sens. Le déchet devient alors un outil de présentation des métiers, mais aussi une manière de renouveler son regard sur un quotidien parfois monotone.


This exhibition, which was held on an industrial site, has two objectives: on the one hand, to integrate and highlight the companies in this cluster and the know-how of their employees. On the other hand, questioning a universal and complex notion: beauty.The exhibition is composed of scrap, scraps, tools and objects left behind by the factory, far from being recognized as beautiful. This collection, worked and presented in another context, takes on a new meaning. The waste becomes a tool for presenting jobs, but also a way of renewing one’s view on a daily life that is sometimes monotonous.
